PUNXSUTAWNEY - Popularni svizac Phil je na 125. sviščev dan u Punxsutawneyu u Pennsylvaniji prokazao da se zimi bliži skori kraj. Svizac nije vidio svoju sjenu, što prema predaji znači da se zimi primiče kraj.

Na svečanosti je bilo oko 15 tisuća ljudi koji nisu bili skloni povjerovati svizcu jer je veliki dio SAD-a pogodilo nezapamćeno nevrjeme.

Svizac je postao planetarno poznat nakon uspješne komedije “Beskrajni dan” s Billom Murayem u glavnoj ulozi.
