YOBE - Bombaš samoubojica ubio je najmanje 29 ljudi u mimohodu šijitskih muslimana, koji su obilježavali ritual Ašura u sjeveroistočnoj nigerijskoj pokrajini Yobe, izjavio je u ponedjeljak, rekao je svjedok.

U samoubilačkom napadu u Potiskumu u pokrajini Yobe, području u središtu države sunitski musliman pripadnik Boko Harama pridružio se šijitima u mimohodu te aktivirao eksplozivnu napravu, izjavili su Reutersu lokalni stanovnici.

U odvojenom izgredu u središnjoj pokrajini Kogi u gradu Lokoja, napadači su eksplozivom raznijeli prolaz do zatvora te ubili pritom jednu osobu i oslobodili 144 zatvorenika, doznaje Reuters.

Boko Haram je u petogodišnjoj kampanji za islamsku državu ubila tisuće ljudi, a smatra se je glavnom sigurnosnom prijetnjom Nigeriji, najvećem afričkom gospodarstvu i vodećem proizvođaču nafte.
